How to Right a Dumped Valk

Oh, no!
My weakling husband has dropped his Valkyrie again!
What will we do?  I guess I'll just have to right it for him!

First, I make sure the kick stand is down so it won't tip over to the other side.

Next, I put it in first or second gear so it won't roll away from me as I heave.

Now, I grab with one hand under the fender rail, and the other on the hand grip.
The front wheel should be turned towards the down side of the bike.

With my bum against the lower edge of the seat and my legs almost straight,
I lean back and walk it up in tiny steps.

There, it's almost balanced!

I carefully ease it over onto the kick stand.
If the bike started with the left side down, I would be extending the kick stand now.

Tadahhh! Okay, Hubby, you're ready to go!
