Yokohama Car Tire
I put a Yokohama 205 55 tire on my Valk last Oct, and the following week my wife an I took a trip to Or.
Towing a cargo trailer I have put about 9000 mi. on it and it shows no tread wear that I can measure.
It is a little wobbly at low speeds, but on the freeway at high speeds it is great . In tight turns I think it handles better. I can drag the pegs while turning in a tight circle at idle.
I live in Prescott, AZ, and go up into the mountains every time I go out.
I would definitely replace it with another auto tire. The tire cost $87, and mounting was $10 at the local auto tire shop.
The local mc shops could not mount it, and the auto shop had the equip to do it.
I would like to hear from other riders that are doing this .
