N.O.S...Bobbed Fender....Custom Paint.....OH Yeah..

I bought it from a Harley Davidson dealer when a co-worker saw it sitting on their showroom, and suggested that this would be the "Real Me".  I of course bought it, rode it until last winter, then promptly tore it apart. Can't seem to leave anything alone.
I patterned this bike somewhat after one that I saw on the F6rider Webzine  owned by George Jackson. I contacted George and he was most helpful to me. The turn signals are Kuryakyn Silver Bullets, rear and Kuryakyn Mirror Signals in front. The wheels, forks, calipers, rotors, rear end housing were polished locally. I prefer the polish to the chrome and it's cheaper . I fashioned the license and light assembly from a stainless drinking fountain.
The paint scheme and fender work was done by "Ernie Ball" from Springfield, a very talented and well known painter here in the mid-west. He chose the Dupont Chromallusion and designed the graphics. George's bike also had a different shade of this paint and it was just a coincidence that ours is the same. As you know , pictures can't do this paint justice.
The motorcycle has Nitrous Oxide, a Dyna ignition, Audiovox cruise control, Corbin dual and Gunfighter seats. I ride this daily , weather permitting.

The help and advice received from the VRCC site is just fantastic!
